The long, fun days in the hot sun
When I used to ride on your back
and play games with you.
In my small yard.

We used to have so much fun together....

But then I moved.

and I didn’t see you for a good two years.

Then you moved in with me,
Probably expecting me to ride on your back
and play games with you
In my now large yard.

But I was now in third-grade.
And was too lazy and selfish to go outside
and ride on your back
and play games with you
in my now large yard.

So I unintentionally avoided you for a year or two.

Like a collectors edition toy,
you stood on an empty shelf
waiting for the day

Because the truth is
There is no light.

How can there be light if
Every time I say something,
I’m always cut down.
So I just stay quiet.
Because I can’t deal with the pain of not being accepted.

Every time my mother’s eyes meet mine
All I see is the disappointment and failure she sees
Within me.
So I just stare at the floor.
Because I just can’t deal with the pain I've caused my mother to suffer with.

edited in PS to look more like the original colors

In my art club, we have like turns to pick what we draw and in what medium, so I picked crona :3 (Fangirl moment)
The clubgoers/instructor called crona a "shim" (she/him) The ENTIRE FLIPPIN TIME!!

...Which is pretty accurate.

Me in art club: AHHHH!!! I ADDED TOO MUCH BLUE TO THE HAIR!!! I CAN'T DEAL WITH THIS!
My club: *Looks at me like I'm crazy and continues to paint*
